RCFD units responded to Route 51 south near Webster Hollow Road for a Vehicle Accident-Class 1 involving a Pedestrian. Fire crews initiated medical care and assisted Rostraver West Newton Emergency Services, who transported the patient to Rostraver Airport for transfer to a Pittsburgh trauma center. Route 51 south was closed for approximately 2 hours during the investigation.
